4 days ago I received a huge penalty on my main site, I had a heap of rankings drop - I'm pretty sure BMR is the cause since the keywords which were slapped are the ones I hit hard with BMR over the last 6 months. How does one go about recovering from such a penalty?
I've continued to add decent content, I'm also driving good healthy traffic from Facebook/Google branding still so I've only taken a 1-2k drop in traffic. Should I leave blackhat alone for a while & let the site recover or am I royally fucked?

Kw 1 (256k local): Position 2 --> 76
Kw 2 (128k local): Position 4 --> NA
Kw 3 (49k local): Position 6 --> NA
Kw 4 (18k local): Position 9 ---> NA
External Pages:
Kw 1 (12k local): Position 4 --> 94
Kw 2 (10k local): Position 3 ---> 12
Then various others which I'd be listing for hours! Some got pushed back & some didn't.
