Google Sues "Google Money" Scam Artists

Apparently, Google's not too happy about the biz opp offers using their name. Who woulda thunk it?

This is about a suprising as tomorrow happening after today.

Was just about to start a thread on this very topic. Look at the official Google blog for more info regarding "fraudulent Google Money schemes" and AdWords accounts getting banned for life.

Also named in the suit are 50 "John Does" that Google alleges are complicit in the schemes. Those individuals will be named later in the suit as their identities are discovered.

The advertisements claimed that someone could make hundreds of dollars working at home doing some simple tasks requiring no special training, the lawsuit said.

I find this part pretty weak. Would any of you describe what we do as hard? We work hard - but what I, at least, work at isn't hard.
