If you have a PR 7 with 5-6k uniques / day, and can't monetize, you're doing something wrong.

Well...I didn't say I can't monetize, it's just that I compare it with PR4 sites I've had that do 1000 uniques and make $500/day. They make enough to pay for a writer and 2 dedicated servers, but adsense clicks that average $0.10 and CPM ads that combine for $15 CPM aren't my idea of doing well...but that's just how some markets are.

You could easily make a few hundred a day on a PR7 selling links.

I got a couple PR5's and some PR4's so I'm happy. It's true technically public PR is worthless and really should not be used as an indicator of anything, but the idiot advertising programs almost always look at PR, so it's good to work on raising it.

Anyway, I prefer a PR4 making $1000 a day to a PR7 making $1000 a month.

I have lost some PR. I've gone from PR6 to PR5. That is not fare. Nevermind, PR doesn't really mean much anyway.
