I don't know what experience you have in IM but I'm a complete newbie.

I've just tried Adam Horwitz's FREE Mobile Monopoly tool - using his step by step video (from which I've created a step by step pdf - to share?).

So far I've run two campaigns and spent $50.00 on AdMob:

Results:
Impressions: 333,989
Clicks: 1,161
Emails listed on AWeber: 13 (2 subsequently unsubscribed)
PeerFly Earnings: $1.50
ClickBank Earnings: $nil

Do you think this result :action-smiley-052: is typical? . . . . . .
Is this the time to quit or, should I persevere?

that's a 0.35% ctr. i'm a newbie, too, but a ctr that low kinda lends itself towards your ad copy being terrible. at least that's what i was told when i sought advice on my low ctrs and my even lower cvrs.

right now i'm reading "tested advertising methods" by john caples. deals with ad copy and although i'm only 53 pages in, it's a goldmine for newbies.

read over these:

oh, and don't quit. was reading a post on here yesterday that made sense to me. don't quit a campaign and start a new one. tweak your current campaign until your stats improve otherwise you'll really have no black & white understanding of what was going wrong and what you're now doing right.

you've gotta use the lalala rule: learn, adapt, learn, adapt, learn, adapt ...

Don't give up. But with 1K+ clicks, you should have pulled a bit more than $1.50

Focus on increasing your CTR with better ad copy, but definitely check out the links and advice from HUST1N. The quality of the LP will make or break a campaign. Improve your copy, son!
