way to go mike! you are an inspiration. do you mind sharing if you're having better luck using this method with smaller offers (ie, zip/email submits) or bigger items where user is purchasing something? good luck with contest #3.

Solid advice.

I know I spend way too much time on keyword selection and I probably shouldn't, lol. I'm surely missing the bigger picture by doing that.
Getting customer focused is paramount and the keywords should follow naturally... :)

good advice - sounds like what i've been doing w/ my arb pages as I found that at least for me less keywords = a much better CTR. When I try to bloat my sites w/ 10k kw's I get shit for traffic.

I'm up to $50/day now in arb, looking forward to make the jump to aff soon too!

Umm, well, so far I only have experience with the one campaign, and it's a pay per lead deal, paying around $14 per lead. So, I'm not sure about email submits.

I'm trying something else for traffic generation this weekend, if it works I'll report back. If it doesn't, I'll tweak it until it does, then report back.

How are you tracking which keywords convert, or are you even doing that?

I don't have tracking for that. I wish I did. Really, out of 500+ keywords, there are only about 10 that produce any hit.

I'm glad to hear from others that my first post is considered basics. That's was what I was aiming for. Whenever I write directions or a tutorial, I think of my sister, and I write it so she could understand it. Not saying my sister is dumb (she's actually VERY smart), but she has a hard time following instructions if they are not crystal clear. :D
