Hiring Designer - Per Job or Full time

Working with the OP on a lander (even though the single post and seperate email address is spooky). Will update this space on how it goes.

Not sure..

When hiring, any resume for a design position that doesn't include a portfolio gets the bin. It's the first indicator for lack of intelligence.

Just sayin'.

So true, can't rest assured when I had someone who the truth is "only can do a bottle juggling"..but actually the case is I need someone to design.

Great artist never call people to take their interview but people want them by the work they do... these great artists are stars of history now.. Im not saying im a great artist but not a person who deserve bin.... Few people have habbit of giving views without knowing person as a whole.. I think thats really very armature view.. no worries.. and may be im not having portfolio but will surely like to give my recent designs to the respected person..

blah blah... im not having portfolio but will surely like to give my recent designs to the respected person.

...then you have a portfolio. You don't have to have some showcase site, but a list of links to your work will suffice. Saying "I don't have a portfolio but can do the work" without offering to provide those samples is a show stopper. Your first post above is a good example of this.

Unless I came across one of your masterpieces and tracked you down personally I'm not going to bother asking you for more info. I'm going to bin you and move onto the next guy. Hardly an amateur approach, I assure you, especially when an art director is looking over 200 resumes to find the 2 or 3 people worth interviewing.
