History stuffing with HTML5



Do users have to click on a link to get stuffed, or can they be stuffed just by loading your page? #html5newb
 
I'd be a bit wary of using this. It's a canny trick, but I can see it being something that could easily come back and bite you.
 
I might try experimenting with this - it actually doesn't seem that bad (unless you do some of the Amazon cookie stuffing they mentioned). I would just be using this to hopefully get a couple visits from previous readers.

...actually, you know what - I'm not quite sure thinking about it, I'll have to give it some more thought first. First thought was people might be careless with affiliate link stuff etc. perhaps?

If you have a legit website, you should have nothing to worry about.

Now when you start phishing social network and bank account URL and stealing shit, thats crossing the line into the darkside so fuck you.
