Red Wings all the way! I miss my ice hockey days...played since I was 5 years old. I'll never forget all of the fights the Wings had with the Avalanche. Darren McCarty bustin' up Claude Lemieux any chance he got for being a total douche. and winning back to back in '96-'98. :D

Hockey is not only the most fun sport, but the only one that isn't a snore fest watching on TV.

I'll watch any hockey game, pro, amateur, kids, college, I love it! Some of the best games I saw were just weekend pickup games at the local rink.

hockey blows ass chunks! and Dru? wtf? a black guy playing hockey? you must not have been very good, being black and all!

lol, I could not resist!

hahahahaahaha!

I was the fastest skater on the team and scored a few goals here and there (couldn't get those hat tricks, I was a scrawny little guy). Played goalie a few times and never lost us a game. :thefinger:
and yes, I'm pretty sure I was the only black kid in the Ann Arbor Hockey Association at the time besides my brother, because I don't remember seeing any others...

What's funny is that I SUCK at basketball. go figure.

does not surprise me one bit, being up there in the cold around all them white people has changed your DNA! hahaha

Lets - go - Red - Wings.

Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey for the Nintendo 64 is where it's at.

Dude..

NHLPA Hockey 1993 for Sega Genesis was the best goddamn game. First game you could take a wild shot and break the glass! I still break out the Genesis once every year or two just to play that one game. Emulators shmemulators, nothing beats using the old bulky controllers that went through years of sweat and chucking the controller at the floor.

Claude Lemieux was a damn good Devil too.

I still think the best goalie confrontation was Osgood vs Roy in center ice when they beat the shit out of eachother, and the crowd just went fuckin nuts. I have a picture with both their signatures on it, and the picture is of their blood bath brawl during that game. May not be worth all that much, but I keep it in the bulletproof plastic next to all of my other Hockey memorabilia.

Also, gotta pay homage to the most famous goal ever scored, done by Bobby Orr when he jumped up to make it look like "the flying goal". Let's not also forget the father of hockey himself, Gordie Howe. Got both of their autographs on equally famous pictures.

Never going to sell any of my stuff, just going to keep passing it down from one hockey generation fan to the next.

Agreed, Osgood vs. Roy was so fucking classic, I was lucky enough to see that one. Here's a clip: vSocial.com: Roy vs. Osgood Surprising, Osgood held his own against Roy who is a giant in comparison.

Osgood was also one of the three goalies to ever score a goal.

I have Sergei Federov and Steve Yzerman's autographs encased in plaques. the Yzerman one is of him holding the Stanley Cup in '96-'97.
