I posted something similar a few weeks back but I have done alot more research since then and I'm looking for more advice-

This is specific to users who have video stream sites set up for zango-

I don't plan on ever going big enough where I believe some higher authority will even contact me to remove content.

And since my sites will be streaming for other sources I will not need alot of bandwidth.

Its just it seems almost any hosting company I search online have bad reviews-
and most do not allow the support of copyrighted content. Most users promoting zango still host with these companies- but what are the chances they will notice you and kick you off?

Should I host a fake (clean) site first, before my video stream site?

Any info would be great-

thanks in advance

cheap, crappy webhosting: dreamhost or 1&1

A decent VPS: Servint

I use dreamhost for tons of sites and have never had any real issues with them. They're pretty good, actually, for what you pay. Friends of mine have had good luck with 1&1 but I've never used them.

Servint is pretty good for a VPS and their support is very helpful and responsive. I use them for bigger projects where I am expecting a lot of traffic and need more reliability.

If you decide to go with dreamhost, use "MAXMONEY" as your coupon code and you'll get their maximum available discount. I'll also get a kickback for giving you such good advice. :)

Use Web Hosting Buzz: Budget Web Hosting - Cheap Website Hosting on Reliable Shared Web Hosting Server using CPanel/WHM

They are cheap and good so if they ban you or kick you off your only down at the most $40 bucks for the entire year.

Then giver shit with what you wanted to do.

EDIT: I forgot it might be more then that you for now because I got my $40 dollar a year hosting account with them through a special SitePoint discount which is no longer around well at least I don't think its no longer around.

But just do some checks for some cheaper hosting providers which give you the most amount of benefits.

I suggest hosting your video streams on Amazon S3, then use whatever hosting you want. S3 only charges for what you use, and it's super cheap.

I use Media Temple, and I like them a lot.

Then I setup whatever content management system I want and stream the videos hosted at S3 through the site.
