hotmail cancelled my account?

Did this happen to anyone?

I am coming to log in onto my hotmail and it does not exist. I don't use it often but this has not stopped it from staying active for almost 10 years.

Or is it just some quirk?

Probably you haven't logged in, in the last 2 to 3 months...they have some rules for the activity.

But in the past i have no logged in for 6-9 months in a row and they did not delete my account...

They mostly keep the account on reserve, so you can reactivate it with your password :/
at least, that worked for mine o-O

As far as I'm concerned, Hotmail also cancels your account if it is mail-bombed.
