Ok, so I have a page template which is basically this (as an example):

Hitachi DZ-GX3300A 3.3MP DVD Camcorder with 10x Optical Zoom

Using this template I'm getting mostly ok quality score in adwords, bidding on the product name and model keywords.

What can I do to improve the QS on this page?

The keywords are already in the title, h1, some body text, within an href, etc.

Thx!

The fact that you mention Amazon.com quite often could be an issue that clearly identifies your site as an affiliate site with duplicate content. Duplicate content is more an issue with SEO, but keep in mind that QS is assembled from 100+ different factors.

What are you using as your match options? Broad? Phrase? Exact?

Good point, ChickenHole. A nice Sitemap link will do the trick.

You do not even need a real sitemap. Just create a small one with links to other products at Amazon (can you say "cloaking") but making it look like local pages.

Add links in a footer with Contact Us & Privacy Policy Pop-ups. Noone clicks on them and you get bonus points from Adwords.

Might also want to try putting a link to the manufacturers page (Hitachi) as an outside trusted resource. (do not put it in an affiliate link)

The above three links will get less than 1/2 of 1% of clicks, but will help your quality score significantly.

Thanks guys for the input. I'll give some of that a try. I already have privacy and terms links, but I'll add a contact us too. The site actually has many thousands of pages, but the links to them are on the category pages rather than the product pages. I'll try adding some links to the categories from the product pages and see if that helps.

As for match options, right now I'm trying all three, but they all seem to have about the same score and minimum bids. I should mention, I'm seeing mostly min bids in the .10-.15 range, so it's not like it's a dollar or anything, but I'd rather be seeing lower than that still.
