How do I place affiliate ads in a shopping cart?

I know this is probably a noob questions but I am wondering how to make a site that looks like a real store but is just links to affiliate stores.

Any recommendations for shopping carts?

A member had a soccer jersey site in their sig, that looked ,good but I can't remember who it was. Come out and show yourself you bastard.

Why would you require a shopping cart? If you're going to feature other merchants' products on your site, then your customers would complete their purchases through the merchants' shopping cart. You would feature a certain product - for example Mr. Potato Head - they click on your pic or text description of Mr. Potato Head and they are taken to the Mr. Potato Head product page of the merchant and they complete their purchase there. Obviously your affiliate codes would be embedded in this. Or did you have something else in mind?

The only reason for the shopping cart would be to give the site a familiar feeling for the customer. I ask because I saw the other members site that had a shopping cart feel and it was a lot more convincing.

K. Since you probably won't put it to actual use I would suggest free shopping cart software such as mals-e or agora.
