Well it kinda depends on the route you take. My struggling has always been because of my fascination for blackhat methods. Some of them die fast, some of them last a little longer. Maybe I should just jump in the Snuggie bandwagon :D
 
i've had $1000 a day profits before, $10k in 20 days before.. guess what im making now? jack shit. conversions drop.. fucking adwords traffic drops for no conceivable reason.. maintaining is not easy and i havn't figured out why it all goes to shit so quickly.

Try MSN, seems to be less traffic, but less pay per click, yahoo too..

I have yet to be profitable on Google. Although, my traffic wasn't the problem in Google, it was the price. Maybe you have to re-look at ads? ? Use laser targeted ads? Just have to get smarter, and think outside the box, and leave the others where there is high competition.


I'd like to hear some more of how you did it, was it 1 offer? or multiple? And about howmany KW's did you use over again, after they converted? Was there 1 or 2 that really kicked some ass?

I did tons of research, i've read countless threads on this forum, read every blog and case study I could, and most importantly I spent some money and tested everything for myself.

I started doing affiliate marketing about 6 months ago. I made a little money at first but overall failed for my first few campaigns. I got busy in my life and it was getting difficult to afford the losses. So I took a short 1-2 month break from aff marketing and came back to it. Lost some more money but didn't give up. Then I started killing a few campaigns and it was good from there. I was able to make approx. $10k in 20 days. I know people are going to ask for proof, but I dont feel its necessary. You can either take me at my word and gain some confidence from this...or don't believe me and move on.

Moral of the story: keep researching...keep testing...keep working.

The two things that helped me the most were looking what other people were doing and learning from it and THIS FORUM.

The typical affiliate marketing success story. And how did you get your traffic again? Was it Google Adsense? How much did you pay per click? $1.00 or $2.00? It's the only way you can get enormous amounts of traffic from Google. I was bidding about $.40 a click with the Google Adwords content network and was averaging about 20 clicks a day. What the heck can I do with that?
 
You're such a disbeliever. I made almost 1K on a weekend sometime ago. Would you like a screenshot sir? My password to get into the account? Or just the atm card to get the money? Still you would think it's fake.
