Ad networks used to be CPM/CPC. AdSense today is pseudo CPC but in fact it is a CPA network. The vast majority of advertisers have Google optimize their bids to maximize conversions which means your CPC will go up or down depending on how well your users convert.

So how come companies like commission junction exist? Why would I manually apply and select offers than track and optimize banners when AdSense does it for me and probably better?

So I'm guessing before you opened this dumbass thread you split tested them both monetarily? I don't give a fucking shit what GaySense does, I just want to earn the maximum ROI for my traffic.

I've posted some more information but since it included a link to my websites it is awaiting moderator review...

Adsense doesn't operate like a CPA network at all. You can spend $1000 in one day on Adsense traffic and make $0 return.

I disagree that affiliate marketing is dead, it's not. It's just that people are doing it wrong. Tons of money to be made as an affiliate.. just do your keyword research correctly and you will see affiliate sales. As far as adsense goes.. it's hit or miss.. but most people still don't do keyword research right.. if you think the GAKT is telling you the right info on CPC.. guess again.. but that's another story :)

I agree though with another post on this thread.. Adsense isn't CPA, big difference between CPA and CPC.
