You should read some of the posts, and how indignant the Metas get when people suggest that any major site shouldn't be down this long. It's some funny shit.

So, just how long does it take before the dragon dies? And what can we do to speed that process up?

In a web-2.0 era, dmoz is a joke that belongs in the nursing home or better yet, buried in the ground. I've got a little alternative idea but I can't be the only one.

Heck you mean its still alive! ~ No more dodgy webmaster/editors looking after their own means. I say good riddence, it's tiring trying to get listed.
