How long did it take you to get a stable income??

As long as you're diversified it is stable. I don't know what some of you guys are doing, but if you're riding a one trick pony hard then yeah success is short lived.

^
This.

Those of you who are doing SEO and getting raped by G. Well, you probably deserve it. Yeah, we all use the shit in BST because, well, most of it works when used properly. But, once I get on the first page with that stuff I start building quality links that I know will probably never be devalued in the future. Build sites that actually deliver real, legitimate value, get quality links, and rinse and repeat. You don't have to worry about losing your shirt on the next update. You'll only do better.

And yeah, diversify. Have your own sites with your own products, build some really good affiliate products etc., then do paid advertising too. Damn, what a noob ass post this was. The same thing has been said a thousand times, but my mind is still blown by these threads . Shit, you all know better. Stop complaining about not having a stable income and build a real business built around quality and value that you can be proud of.

Best way to make money online from my 7 years doing this is too have several sites and several different business online to run and manage. If you are trying to make "$30 a day" off adsense alone you're stupid.

The internet is full of porn, and risk. You have to spend money to make money..So and "free" methods you are using are probably not going to work in the long run or throw you over to making a stable income.. You have to try everything to make money not sitting on your ass trying to build links all day. That is a waste of time.

Best bet is to GET A DAY JOB and invest money you make there into the Affiliate marketing, SEO, and build. Eventually if you are NOT retard it should pay off.

First I read Shoemoney and JohnChow
Then I went to BHW saw some shady stuff that was short term (think craigslist)
Made okay money from yt and gateways. Felt done with that.
Tried some paid marketing, didn't have enough spend and got banned (I think) from facebook. Will come back to this when SEO gives me spending money...

Which moves me on to SEO.... I also pretended I know what was going on. A while ago me and my friends started a blog with a domain name that was random, didn't match a niche, and the posts didn't target any keywords. Completely all over the place, the site got some Pagerank and reached like 20 visitors a day but made nothing for adwords and other ads.

Realized niche research, started understanding backlinking, and have in the last 2-3 weeks just started working on a well targeted EMD project where I'm experimenting with buying services and doing my own backlinking, as well as learning how to get better and on-page seo.

This first legit seo site is ranking decently, but it needs to be number 1 for my kw's to make me like $30 daily. Hopefully I'm almost there. I won't talk about my monetization methods. Has a bunch of blog posts, I'm posting more. First real "smart" experience with SEO.

Chose a niche for the second site, did some of the banner design, got a theme I like... Now I just need to write content, do some bookmarking and some other associated work. Will work on these two simultaneously for now. Hoping for about $30 a day from each (maybe a little more from the second one.) Just going to keep on fixing the on-page seo, adding backlinks, writing new posts throughuot the next few months.

Eventually, I'll setup some automation with some macros once I realize what works and I'll see how I can have sites rank better. Working on my own process. Testing, experimenting. When SEO gives me some money, I'll get SB and Sick sub. Also, I don't quite get social bookmarking. Trying to find a list of do follow social bookmarks, that I can potentially ping, and then I can automate the pinging of all my backlinks to my money site. I'm just trying to figure out how the frick to get those web 2.0s(pointing to money site) their own backlinks (more specifically, how to automate this - which brings me back to my lack of understanding on the effectiveness of social bookmarks)

For now, that is all. Doing a lot of shit manual. Have 1k in the bank (only cause I just built a rediculous comp and bought a dual screen setup), but I'm young and well, nahh, rather do it manual at first then have that pay for it. I was never one of those idiots who bought products.

cool story bro

It will take some time but eventually you'll learn from you mistakes and you'll get to learn from those mistakes. Try to focus on one thing at a time don't try to jump from one opp to another opp ... do research all the time .... and you'll be fine .....

Ive been doing this for 2 yrs and im just now starting to see a pay off. Still I am wondering my full potential. Plus ive blown alot of money on my experiments to get here.

a stable income I have(a 9 -5 ), and I'm trying to get rid of that. That's why I'm trying to make AM money to pour into some long-term pay off Real-estate. Think apartment complexes 100 units x $800 = $80,000 per month - monthly expenses lets say $30,000, that still leaves $50,000 per month and that's just one property. Of course someone else will be managing these at 10-15%. Now that's using your money wisely.

How much would these apartments cost and how much cash do you need to purchase them?

It depends on the city you live in...Just pull up your local realtor company's site online and search commercial properties (ex. remax.com), in my city I've seen them range from $400,000 - $1,000,000+ depending on what you're looking for. It's all about leveraging putting 10-20% down and letting the renters pay the mortage.

Hello, i'm new to the forum and new to the IM (about 2-3 weks) so i made only one site, and no i didnt make any money yet beacause I'm new to the site making to :) so i can say that i'm experimenting. So if it's anybody more experinced then me ( and obviosly it is ) and wants to se my site (please send me a pm so I'll reply it whit the link) and maybe tell me a few thing. That wold be a big help to me. Anyone, anything...

My first trial run (an idea I had thinking outside of the box) earned me 40k in 30 days. I then rode that train for about 6 months before it came crashing down thanks for the US Govt. From there it took me about 2 weeks to get something else going, which also only lasted about 6 months.

After that I moved into adult and had a steady $xx,xxx monthly income for the past 4 years or so. However now that the adult industry has reached rock bottom I again find myself looking for new ventures.

$400k for an apartment block with 100 apartments?

Over here that'd pay for a single apartment...

[$400k for an apartment block with 100 apartments?

Over here that'd pay for a single apartment...] [Yeah something doesn't add up. Probably more like $400k for a block with 10 apartments.]
