How long does getting a thread approved normally take?

Ok, this is a little ridiculous, I'm losing my interest in my subject because Admin or whoever takes too long to approve threads. When I post, I like to get responses as soon as possible on a topic. I've posted my first thread, and now I have to wait for it to be approved, for how long?

I can't believe after reading some of these threads and posts that Admin actually has to 'approve' them. I would be very hard pressed to find a post that Admin would NOT approve, yet they still make you go through all the formalities anyway.

Execpt when I am slap acrrosed the face by a WF member, sometimes I do deserve it, for asking totally stupid questions where if I did a little leg work myself I would have found it.
