How many hours a week do you work?

Right now around 20-25 hours a week while maintaing a part time job, full time college student, and somewhat of a social life. I'm not making excuses, I'm fine with how I manage my time. Can't wait to quit the part time job though, I'd love to be able to work more on online stuff. But when you aren't making any serious dough, you kinda need that part time job...

I'm kinda in the same dilemma: college full-time, part-time job, g/f. It's really hard to leave the part-time job, not only because I've been working there so long but I need the money as well. I'd say I probably "work" (counting college + job) anywhere from 40-50 hours per week.

It all depends. And i do believe it differs with everyone. Im in college so i would say. . . . 1-2 max a day. Thats if im really busy and everythings running smoothly. SoOo if your not making money or somethings messed then u surely wanna get soemthing started or get back on track that'll spend a bit more time :P i would say 10-20hours a week?

40 hours regular job. I can do some AM at work so AM hours could be around 80. Its like an addiction to me haha. Helped me quit MMORPGs

You guys make me feel lazy... I work 15-20 hours a week on my campaigns, and that's it. I'm in college full time and I make enough from AM to not need a full time job, but I know I would be making a lot more if I buckled down and worked 10-12 hour days like some of you guys.

I just can't get motivated... it's so easy to just sit back, relax, and watch the profits increase without doing anything, I'm too lazy to get to work and take it to the next level.

It varies, but I average 12-14 hours a day, not counting a whole lot of reading on a wide range of subjects. I'm pretty much attached to my computer during my waking hours.

I've had permanent jobs with much longer hours, though. Now I am my own boss and don't have to put up with endless commuting, office politics and corporate crap, so I am not complaining.

You do have to be disciplined to work at home, and try not to get distracted, bored or lonely. Take a break sometimes, go out and do something completely different, if only for a few hours. For me, going out for a long lunch with friends during "normal" office hours sometimes works well. Then I can get back to my desk feeling refreshed and work away all evening.

I think blue Yonder meant how many hours you work at affiliate marketing. Of course, hopefully there is a correlation between the hours worked and money made. I used to work from 5 am to 9 or 10 pm (when i wasn't working a full time job) and I found I got burned out rather quickly. Unfortunately, I am one of those people who needs to listen or read twice. You guys in college GOOD LUCK! And James, you know engineers get laid off frequently. So keep working at affiliate marketing. I'll share whatever I learn.

I put in tons of hours as well, 8 hours a day at the office, and even more at home catching up.

But, that’s awesome that everyone dedicates so much time to the industry. That’s why we do so well overall, we care about our future and work hard to make it bright.

Besides, it’s a very lucrative hobby! Cash in the bank is like points on a scoreboard, how many do you have?

All of them pretty much. I always have a laptop or computer within reach.

Currently I work way too much, probably 10-12 hours a day and at first I didn't make anything (9 months ago) but nowaday, the work I do daily is fruitful and I am glad to not have to work for someone else. However, my girfrield still rolls her eyes when I say Im going to check my email and reappear 2 hours later...haha

so it sounds like affilate marketing is not the 'automatic' money that all the ebooks pitch :)

Thats why all the ebooks pitch that shit, so people will buy them thinking they will make all the monies

I'm pretty lazy, so I don't really work.

I live in my parents basement, that means no rent and free food.

I like sleeping, watching the food network, playing free online poker and watching porn.

I'm working on getting to work on my dream, because my family is getting upset that I'm 23 and not "making something of my life".

That's why I'm here, so I can learn how to make lots of money.

I am a noob, and make money online, but not with IM/AM. I work a solid 6 to 8 hours a day on IM/AM. Then the other 6 hours I spend reading, learning and talking to people. I reflect on what I've done that day, and make a new todo list with any other time I have before I crash.
