ROTHSCHILD, Wis. — Wisconsin has become the 49th state to legalize the carrying of concealed weapons.

Gov. Scott Walker signed a bill Friday removing the state's ban. Except for a few minor aspects, the bulk of the law goes into effect in November.

Its a great day in Wisconsin after years of fighting for the right its finally legal to to get a concealed carry permit in Wisconsin. How many of you guys have and use a CCW permit? I celebrated by going out and getting this little guy today.

I don't have a CCW but I've never been harassed for open-carrying here in Missouri. Not that I do that much anyway. The Bass Pro shop in my area has a shooting range. It's fun sometimes to walk in and see new-hires flip out when I ask to them to check the weapon for the range. They always call a manager over and he looks at them like they're idiots and waves me through.

I No longer carry Its actually pretty pointless unless your going to buy crack in the projects at like 2 a.m and you are afraid of getting shot.

Its actually a bad idea to carry when your buying crack at 2 am. If you get busted the weapons charge accelerates the shit out of your drug charges and you will add at least 5 to 10 years to your sentence

I carry from time to time when I feel I need to, and I've never once asked some rope-dick Illinois political cunt hack for permission.

Yeah, you take a chance when you do that, but I was called in to do electrical work for the CHA several times in the past in Cabrini-Green (when it was up), and my motto is It's always better to be Tried by 12 than Carried by 6

Watch those little Ruger autos too bros- Magazine spring fatigue is a very real problem with any auto, and those in particular, so keep your mags unloaded when you have them parked, or get a wheelgun, oh, like this?

I dont have a CCW in any state. I dont even own a firearm....period. But why the fuck are you doling out advice and acting like you know what the fuck you're talking about when you can't even demonstrate proper handling of a weapon?

The day I worry more about the springs in my mag than your chewed off stump touching a drawn trigger is a cold day in hell.

<-CCW North Carolina. Thankfully we have also just recently voted to expand home protection laws to include the typical "castle doctrine" set of laws.

LMAO do you even have a clue what hes talking about? Everything he said was true. All it takes is a mag failiure at the worst possible time to ruin your day.

Galacon thanks for the heads up on the Rugar. Im pretty anal about mag rotations with my other pistols and keep my trusty Colt 44 in nearby (exactly for reliability reasons you mentioned)
