How many sites are you running right now, and which niches are paying the best?

Do you think it's a better move to concentrate more effort on fewer sites, or spread out wide and thin?

Is one ever enough?
 


One site can be just fine if it's plentyoffish.com.

It's tough to say. I currently have about 6 or 7 sites, but I'm not making much from any of them as I'm still learning.

I know most successful marketers that I talk to seem to have a shit ton of sites, doing anything from ringtones to arbitrage.

So, I'd say it's definitely good to diversify. Just make sure you're putting enough work into each site along the way.
 
2 geared towards AM. 3-4 adsense sites which i don't bother with anymore.

My goal is to add 2 AM sites a month if i can.
 
Around 60 sites right now.

25% of those are in the travel niche
around 60% are in health
the rest are random
 
I have one, poorly preforming website. Still learning though. I'm in credit cards.
 
I have the main site in my sig and a few parked pages. For the main site custom programming is being done, with more to come, and I have made an investment so far of about $2,000 all considered. I hope to see it become a highly trafficked site in the caliber of iWon. The site is taking far, far longer to finish than my partner and I ever expected.

Are your sites inexpensive and home-made, or have you spent time and dropped a lot of change into developing them?
 
I collect websites, but I'll sell almost everything soon and focus on 3 things (niches). I've been selling online since 2003 and I'm tired of dividing my work into X niches.

My advice is to focus on max 3 things or just 1 big thing and 1 for backup (adsense & such).
