How Much People in New York City Make. Neat Article!

We are lucky...

By looking at profit margins and ROI stated in most of these New York companies/jobs I'd say we're fortunate to be able to pick and choose our investments online and to be "upset" when our ROI is "as low as" 100%. You can see that most of the larger companies profit 10% or less. In internet marketing 100 - 300% ROI is not uncommon. The only guy making that kind of bank in NY was the drug dealer. :rasta:

Except we don't have revenues of $12b per quarter ;)

That was a very cool article, I especially enjoyed the one about the drug dealer heh.

I don't understand how the pizza shop makes so little

Yeah, same. Probably poorly managed.

I don't understand why they don't just sell that shit and go do something more profitable....like work at McDonalds.

I swear to god, WF is going to turn me into a drug dealer.....

there's so much money!

its a supersmall restaurant. It only has 24 seats and serves 30 meals in a day. Also, in NYC, the overhead from rent is out the roof! i worked at a TGI Fridays, in the middle of Times Sq back in 03. The rent each month was $150K. Customers used to wonder why the a burger was $14 and a Caesar w/ Chicken was $12. After I told them what rent was, it was like, "could we really sell a burger for $6 bucks?" Than they'd understand.

Probably same with the Pizza Shop. $1.75-2 slice and a drink only equals $3 bucks. So I can understand how its so low.

$150,000 a month... for all these guys who are saying .com's are still way undervalued; they are probably right.

Interesting article. After reading that, I'm considering ditching this internet gig and just selling speed in NYC. Only 2 years in prison for that kind of profit margain? That's almost like no risk.

And we wonder why our country has a drug problem.
