Sure - that makes sense. But it's not as if the AM just got the OPs phone number by looking up his IP address; that's simply not possible. As always, there's more to the story than is initially being shared.

I personally think its a little shady, but at least the guy has some clue about the industry and actually tries to contact and get involved. Most of my AM's are MIA. I would much rather run my traffic through someone like this, then a company/AM that can't even respond to or work with existing publishers.

I've had this happen a lot to me in the last few weeks. Doesn't bother me too much. Only one network has gotten me to sign up.

I'm not surprised. I even give them credit for admitting that they clicked your ad and want to do business with you, which proves that they're trustworthy.

All affiliate networks click your ads. If they say they don't they are lying, guaranteed. They call it "scouting" or "researching" but basically it's just costing us money and increasing the number of junk mail messages we get a day.
