How to blog and make money online case study with Moe Bedard

Man, this thread went from interesting to gay to completely irrelevant to this section, someone close this shit and let dude promote his blog on... his blog.

I would have definitely followed a thread/blog about building a content site about mma or whatever. But now it looks like the content site will be an MMO content site, which kind of makes me snore almost as much as John Chow and Shoemoney.

I mean no disrespect to any of you, but christ - build something worth building. MMO has been done to death.

No, MMO is still alive and Kicking and spinning.

Looks like Moe's done in here and hasn't updated his MB.com site in a while.. not surprised.

There is a positive take-away here though. When I first started doing anything online it was w/ adsense 4 years ago and I hated it because I'd make 0.25 cpc's. Eventually I found affiliate marketing and the rest is history BUT after reading this thread and checking out Moe's LoanSafe site I decided to throw adsense onto a few old domains I haven't touched in years and I'm regularly getting $1.50+ cpc's for the last 3 weeks.

These sites get tier 1 search traffic and I think that plays into higher CPC's then other types of traffic. This is something I didn't realize when I first started.

Anyways, although this case study seems to have died - if you were planning on following it, just jump in and test shit. Pull out your old domains, get some articles written and see what happens. Can't hurt. And I have to thank this thread for the inspiration to take 5 minutes to put adsense on a few old sites I was doing nothing with.
