To answer the man's questions:
Google AdWords, AdF.ly, Facebook Ads, would be a good start.

Don't mind these guys who spend too much time in front of their computer - they are either broke as fuck or too rich to know what to do with their time.

You can use better keywords. If your traffic is not converting then you must been getting the wrong visitors. Try to build better content that will surely pull-off the right people into your site. If you are focusing in affiliate marketing getting targeted traffic is a must but if you only have adsense then number counts more.
