Hi

I will sell a website for 1000$ to someone .
This last has informed me that he will be paying me by Credit card from his paypal account . ( I will recieve the money by Paypal)

I asked him that Im worrying about doing a change back after he recieve the domain and website . but he told me that he isnt a scammer and never did that .
In reality he seems to be a nice guy and doent appear to be a scammer ..., But instead of that i would like that our deal will be tranquil and perfect ......so I like to know if there is a way to protect each other from a possible fraud .

So how can I protect myself from a futur charge back if I send him the website ?
He is also thinking about a way to prove me that he will not use such methode .

Thanks for your suggestions

Tell him you'll only transfer the ownership of the domain name after 60 days. You can make any dns or nameserver changes for him and retain possession of the name.

I think the charge back limit is 45 days for paypal, so if he doesn't charge back in 45 days paypal won't let him after that. If he pays with a credit card, the limit may be longer but in any case 60 days should be enough.

If he won't go for that you can go through escrow.com but there are fees, you'll have to agree on who is responsible for those fees or split the fees and each pay half.

How hard is it to not use bold?.

http://www.escrowdns.com

They are fast and verify everything from the buyer so it would be very hard for them to chargeback. If they refuse to do escrow, make them do a wire transfer, if they don't do that then sell it to somebody else.

A PayPal complaint and a chargeback are two different things. Chargebacks are up to the credit card company.
