Looking for advice, people.

I've made a nice lilttle landing page for a product I wanted to sell in my country.

Now, the problem was that at the same time (probably a week earlier than I ventured into it) a big retail chain acquired the same product, and on a exclusive distribution rights.

So, now they have big money to play with marketing and all.

Bummer for me. But not everything is lost, I hope. I wish to sell something, or everything for that site.

Trouble is, it's local. I called the company and told them that I had good results with my page.

I don't know if it was my copy-writing or begginers luck, but I spent $50 on ad rotation (contextual and facebook) and I got 10 orders for it. Product price is $25.

So for 50 bucks of ads I got 250 bucks of sales, which is nice.

How can I monetize anything from that site? I made a nice design, order form that makes txt file for importing it in Excel, also sends a confirmation mail to customer since the payment is strictly COD.

Is there any way to sell the template of this squeeze page? Translate the copywrite and try to sell it somewhere?

I called the company that sells that same product and he mentioned something like "we hired designers for $200 but our page gets a lot of traffic and not much sales".

So that means he would offer me $100.

Is there a way to sell something like this or should I just take the L and keep it moving?

Thanks! :D

U know , then best thing u could do right now ,

is call that Company and tell them about ur campaign , tell me how good ur results were and how u can profit them.

Then surely will hire u.

I called the guy, told about the results. But he doesnt get it. He wants to push the product into retail.

Pretty dumb. Why would you pay to get into retail chains if the product is new and nobody here knows about it. Plus - he obviously doesnt understand that the money is in returning customers for that product.

So him being ignorant about it, he probably doesn't understand or appreciate the idea of direct marketing...and he probably doesn't plan on spending anything more than peanuts for my website. If he even wants it.

If he has a boss, find out who it is, and go to him. Either way, pull up some sales statistics. Show them your numbers. Then play hardball. Sounds like a hustle, if they only offered you a $100. Either the guy is some lower down who doesnt give a shit, or hes a total moron.

Is the price fixed? Can you get more than $25

How exclusive is their distribution?

Can you spend another $50 and bring in another $250 or more?

If so, rinse and repeat until you get shut down.
