If you really want to know what to advertise on a humour site, then check out some of the big guys like college humour.
Keep track of what is being advertised and just plug the same shit. It's usually dating and cam shit anyways.

I also have a funny picture site, and it's amazing. the CPM SUCKS so badly. My technical websites have click rates in the double digits but the funny sites do VERY badly with ads.

People want to have fun. I think sex is the only thing that's going to distract them, but that's going to scare (quick close) a lot of people at work.

I've have a comedy site for years and the only thing that sort of work is adsense. Nothing else generates any income.
