Hello All,

I was wondering if you could help me with some math. I have seen several IFW's offer cash prizes for completing offers and referrals.
Generally the offer works out to be around $75.00 per referral. If you go to the affiliate web-sites they only pay $1 to $25 per sign up.
So why are the payouts at the IFW's so high?

Thanks

GG

Does the answer to your question really matter when compared with your profit potential? IF an advertiser is willing to may 3X the sale price, run with it, and run fast.

Hey,

Thanks for the replies. Here is a site that I'm referring 2..

Cash...Prizes...Freebies4Me (for reference only, I'm not affiliated)

The reason I ask is because I too what to start a IFW. I have been talking to several affiliate market companies, and I have seen what they pay for each commission.

The problem is if I give them 13 sign-up they won't pay me the $500 this guy is paying out.

How about there could be tons of scrubbing going on, on the network level. They could offer you $200 and it wont matter. If it sounds too good to be true, chances are it is.

If you are just starting out in internet marketing, I would not recommend going with IFW, GPT, or Incentivized sites. For the most part, they are a pain in the ass and it will take you a long time to make anything decent with it, and you will have all the networks going over all of your traffic with a fine-toothed comb to make sure there isn't fraud (which there will be, because people always try to game IFW sites).

Just stick to PPC or SEO until you start making money and have a little bit to mess around with, so it won't matter if you lose your shirt.

Thanks for the advice. I have talked to several networks and they really don't want to promote cash sites.

O.K. if I P.M. you?
