I gotta admit I got Lucky in Affiliate Marketing

Well I hope you learned your lesson of blowing the cash you made. Controlling your spending is probably the number one most critical thing in this business.

I budget how much I'm going to spend far ahead of time, how much I make doesn't change it much. If I make a shit ton of money in a month I might go blow 1% of it on something and that's about it. Same goes for times when I don't make as much, I might spend slightly less but more or less I stick to my budget and have the luxury of doing so because of all the money saved up from the other weeks/months.

If you base your spending on your earnings in this business you will almost always have problems.

This. Huge key to this business.

Also, have dedicated money to test/lose/learn with. I see people spending their eating money on running a campaign. If you're doing that you're probably making some emotional decisions vs. logical.

When I first came in this game a year ago, I had no idea what I was doing. I just learned the basic and ran with it. The first month in affiliate marketing I found me a niche and made a few hundred dollars, and than the following month i banked over a stack and each month it was getting higher and higher. This continued for the whole year, i was like shit, this shit is easy; I was making 2k/month with this one niche, it may not sound a lot but for a person who goes to school full time and use to deliver pizza at Domino's, it was awesome. I was making money sitting on my ass. Than it hit me that niche was no longer working and now I have to start from the beginning and notice this shit is extremely hard. I learned a lot of things now I didn't know a year ago, and I cant believe I actually made money doing the basics. Now since I know what i'm doing now I need money for media buying, ppv, testing, such & such. I also got to admit I kinda blew that money I was making a year ago, I wish I could have started over again with the knowledge I got right now. This game is not an overnight thing, that's the difference from guys like me and guys who are super affiliates, they know what they doing and they never rely on just one niche. They keep grindin & grindin until they have a lot more niches and a lot more money for much more larger media buying and shit like that. I'm giving myself a time limit, ima be in this game for the next two more years, and if I don't make the money I'm satisfy with I'm done. This game is extremely hard, now I know that....

I think he means...

When I originally came in this game last year, I had not got any idea what I was doing. I just boned up on the basic and ran with it. The 1st month in affiliate marketing I found me a spot and made a couple of hundred greenbacks, and than the month after i banked over a stack and every month it was becoming higher and higher. This carried on for the entire year, i was like shit, this shit is simple ; I was making 2k / month with this one niche, it might not sound a lot except for an individual who goes to college full time and use to supply pizza at Domino's, it was amazing. I was earning money sitting on my ass. Than it struck me that niche was not working and now I should start from the start and notice this shit is incredibly tough. I learned tons of things now I did not know last year, and I cant believe I made cash doing the fundamentals. Now since I know what I am doing now I require cash for media purchasing, ppv, testing, such & such. I also got to confess I kinda blew that cash I was making a year back, I wish that I might have started over again with the information I got at the moment. This game isn't an overnite thing, that is the difference from fellows like me and fellows who are super associates, they know what they doing and they never depend on only one niche. They keep grindin & grindin till they have got a lot more niches and a load more money for much more bigger media purchasing and shit like that. I am giving myself a cutoff point, ima be in this game for the following 2 more years, and if I do not make the money I am satisfy with I am done. This game is incredibly tough, now I know that....

wow you have a lot of time in your hands...

By taking a lot of action and being creative at it you can draw luck to you at will.

So do more testing, keep your faith and luck will find you again.

To be honest, that's all I'm betting on lately. Just throw a lot of shit at the wall and something is bound to stick.
