I need ideas for blogs.

I want to get into the business of internet marketing..but not sure exactly where to start. I've read that you want to pick something that YOU (the owner) enjoys. For me, maybe I could write about music or guitars. How do you think I would set a blog up then? Just write or copy and paste a few articles every day or so..add some ads...and voila? Would something like that be able to make bank even?

Another idea was to set up a senior travel site...make blog entries daily or so about vacation spots that seniors might enjoy and add some ads in hopes that they will click.

Take the next 3 days and read for 8 hours a day til you get through every relevant thread on this forum! Start by reading Andrew Wee's stuff since he's the blogging guide and his info is good. There's a ton of excellent content here.

hlmijendrix, Its good to pick a topic that has lots of advertisers... but you need to make sure it's not too competitive because it will be too hard to rank for anything with a new blog.
 
Like Hendrix and music, eh? Make a blog about dead famous musicians and their contributions to music. Tons of linkbait potential there, I would think. Content would be easy to find. You could advertise musical equiment, cds, books about those musicians, etc. The list of things you could promote is endless.

I bought a domain and hosting tonight also. It has to do with zunes. Info about them, as well as news about them. Probably not the most creative topic, but I'll give it a shot. Maybe I'd be able to sell the domain a year or two from now assuming Zunes gain even more popularity?

I could care less if you ban me. I'm new here. I read all those threads already. This wasn't a thread asking about which path would make me the most money, I just wanted some inspiration for ideas.

Take it from another noob, read more than you post. SEOMIKE laid out some good stuff. If you truly read each of those post that he linked, you wouldn't be coming here asking questions to get inspiration; you'd be re-reading those post; because they are which give you the inspiration. And you read the post, you wouldn't need these fuckers to INSPIRE you. The inspiration comes from within and the WHY. WHY the hell do you want to do this business?
