So Im pledging a fraternity and we are planning our dance. Its marti gras themed and were designing it right now. Right now we have an ice louge, which is just a big block of ice with two "pathways" carved in it. You poor the shot at the top and when it reaches the bottom its nice and cool. I was wondering if you guys had heard of anything similar to that. Not drinking games but shit I could build that allows you to consume alcohal in new and interesting ways.

Get a watermelon, cut a whole in the top, put a bottle of vodka in that whole, let the bottle sit there for a few days until the melon absorbs it all.
Cut, Serve & Enjoy.
 
I do this shooter I call a "Flaming Fuck Me Up"

Layer in this order:
20ml Midori (this is to balance the flavour of the top layer)
20ml Agwa (this is the fuck me up part)
20ml Chatruese (or Absinth, if you're hardcore)

If they're balanced right, you'll be able to light the top layer, warming the Agwa, releasing the delightful (supposed) residual opiates, and the the Midori cold and refreshing in flavour.

You need to make ice shot glasses for it, then it's extra impressive as it freezes your fingers and burns your eyebrows.
Make sure to drink it while it's on fire...

Or if that's too much effort, just put Bacardi151 on top of everything and set it on fire.
 
Every so often there's a fad around here where people snort vodka. I couldn't bring myself to try it, just the thought of it brings back memories of getting water up my nose in the swimming pool Pain!

It gets them utterly shot, but I do think it carries a risk of drowning.
 
team jello shot competion for distance. two people per team and the goal is to see how far you can launch a jello shot and catch it in your mouth. You could use a waterballoon launcher or something, maybe a potato gun....lol....take video if you try that shit and put it on youtube....
 
A fun, yet pointless game I have played was called 'Smack the Bag' It involved taking a bag of wine out of its box and running around with it. You just 'Smack the Bag' turn the nozzle and start chugging. It makes people want to drink lots and smacking the bag is sorta like smacking an ass - an ass full of wine. Not sure if you can reuse the bag but its a fun pointless game that always gets me jacked up.
 
Oh, I just remembered, in my study I've got a board game called "The Vodka Party Game".
It's actually fairly complicated, so best to start it sober.
It's sort of like the "James Bond" board game meets rampant drinking. It's got a loose pretense of a cold-war story line, and it's all espionagey.
There's also a set of modifier cards you can play with, optionally, that brings 'seduction' into play as part of the 'espionage'.
 
Multi-story, multi-tube beer bong. You'll need a bunch of plumbing supplies/valves/clamps to make it work, but it is fun.

As for mardi gras (weeks late for that one, eh?) themed drinks could work well. Hurricanes and Hand Grenades are good, as well as any other alcohol since alcohol is a pretty big theme of mardi gras in itself.
