I received an audit letter 2-yrs after I filed one time .... keep ALL your records for at least 6-7 years!

I had the same problem. Fudged a little on 2004 taxes found out in 2006 that I owe $2100. Ooops.

It's best to keep your records for 7 years to CYA

hi, good god no!!! you can be audited up to 7 years and if you are a business sole propriator it can go longer than that!! as everyone says keep all your records at least 7 years..
