You hit the nail right on the head. Sharpton could give a shit about Tiger's feelings, he wants the publicity. It even says in the article that Tiger didn't care - so what's the big deal?

Lynching != automatically thinking of black people. Which, logically, would be definable as "racist" if one did think in that manner. Which is exactly what these people are doing. She didn't say "lynch him because he's black."

I hate that shit. One day, Im gonna get famous. Them Im going to use a racial slur JUST to piss the Rev off. Then, Ill tell him to go F himself on TV. Itll be great.

EDIT: On second thought, Ill get on TV somehow and then use a racial slur aimed directly at Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

Actually, I find a lot more people ( meaning white people who normally are "anti-pc" or don't care too much) outraged over this woman's comments than usual. But it really is up to Tiger whether he is offended or not.

When Al Sharpton gets involved is when people push back the other way. I have to think Al Sharpton knows ( I think he is reasonably intelligent, I think) he only makes things worse and just loves the power and attention.
 
how is it even Tiger's choice to be offended? Take the context of the statement. It was a compliment to Tiger. She was saying the only way you are going to be able to beat him is if you take him out. The problem is many if not most people born in the late 60's on don't think about race much unless they make there living from it. Or if they use there race as an excuse for doing nothing with there life.
