I have been running some semi-successful email/zip submit campaigns from search traffic but am running into a roadblock with Google: their QS. I have been running the same strategy that SEO Mike describes in his post here

I am getting a decent amount of traffic from Yahoo, but little from Google. They want me to up the bid on even long tail keywords to 20 to 40 cents.

My Question: How can I improve my QS for my site/landing page, assuming my ads are optimal.

Heres an example of one I am running: Did Roger Clemens really take HGH?
(theres little search traffic from this one, so I will sacrifice it to WF)

I also through up a blog with content on the domain.

Should I change templates? Throw more copy on the landing page? More keywords?

Thanks for your help again.

Well, how is your site different from SEODave's?
He has more text (that is relevant to his search terms) on his landing page, and has a Privacy Policy and Contact Us links.

Your site doesn't have any content really. QS is doing its job by blocking shitty sites. Try adding more to it.

yes add more content, you should also cloak your links so it actually looks like the votes are being counted...and you may have to take a hit for a while and bid high in order to get a higher placement and improve your CTR

In the layout you stole from SEO MIKE he had a privacy policy and a contact us page. Is sole purpose there was to increase QS. For starters I'd put those back up.

One thing I do to up conversions on my email submits is IFrame the landing page and put in big letters above it "Enter Your Email To Claim!"

Thanks a lot guys.

As always, you are very helpful. I will try and post again when I see improvement.

Try making your landing page appear less like a landing page, and more like a fully functional website.

Remember, QS has a lot to do with your CTR, and sometimes you have to pay for a good CTR.

Yes, add a Privacy Policy page, Contact Us page, and write a little UNIQUE information about Roger Clemens and the HGH he allegedly took. Some say to even link to the Wikipedia page for the topic of the site, in this case, Roger Clemens.

Be careful with the way you market e-mail and zip submits. In the past I have seen affiliates get too risky with them, and I have to admit... I have done some things I thought was "ok" at the time.

But, to some networks it is wrong to suggest that they have to enter their e-mail address... That COULD be called an INCENT. It is best to use approved phrases, and only your affiliate manager can approve those.

Oh, and did you know that the advertiser wants the user to participate after entering ther e-mail?

But, if whatever you are doing is working... and no one has complained yet... this could be your chance to fix them. In essence, I have lost money marketing campaigns wrong, and they could do it to you.

Can you show us an example of that? I wanna see how you do it.

Thanks

Great tips. Thanks bubbles. I never know if I can add text on iframe page. Guess my HTML knowledge is not that good yet. I'll keep your html code.

I dont run any email / zip submits on search, only content network. Its too easy to loose your ass with low paying offers on search.
