I cannot for the life of me find a good french hosting company. Can someone recommend a reputable french hosting company that takes american customers?

I have been trying for the life of me to find a good French hosting company (I'm French) but with no success.
1) It's expensive as hell.
2) Service sucks (slow, bad support)
Does it have to be absolutely French ? There's a bunch of great hosts in Germany, UK, Holland.

50% of UK hosts have their servers in France. You need to look for the OVH datacentre, that's where most people put their servers.
