Trendwatching's international briefings always get my brain churning up new ideas -- this year's report no exception. I've seen a couple of things that really have me wanting to go after international markets, but it is extremely difficult to find offers that cater to these markets. Half of the CPA stuff I see when I say "international offers" is ringtones and browser games and e-cards, usually shit offers paying even shittier-than-normal commissions for conversions.

Where are the serious international offers?

because the companies aren't international. every single one of these items can be sold virtually anywhere , given there is a translator and an affiliate. the companies are 99% us based and why bother to explore markets when you have affiliate marketers hungry to operate at sub-us$1 margins? so they let you guys run around.

3-4 months down the block the offer suddenly vanishes. but this time the company behind it has their own office in sao paolo.

wake the FUCK up. and start developing your business

@john: Glad you like it. Trendwatching and similar sites have knocked all kinds of $$$ ideas loose from my brain over the years. It's a great site to bookmark.

@Nitzan: Any time I start talking about international traffic I'm referred to Smiley Central and Zwinky and other dogshit paying half of its usual dogshit commission for its dogshit downloads. It would be nice if I could go around and actually find some relevant offers for my international traffic, instead of it getting treated like a leper invasion. Really, by "international" I guess I mean "Non-White People Countries" since there tend to be decent offers for Canadian, UK, Australian etc. traffic. Maybe there are burgeoning affiliate opporunities all over the world, and I am just unaware of them, being myself in the US -- but it would be nice to find some and use them for the quality international traffic that I get. It's as if the US companies just view substantially all international traffic as junk, when it isn't.

@evelynds: I am not sure we're having the same conversation here. Also not sure how to take you bashing affiliate companies while promoting EWA in your sig (not that there's anything wrong with it; just not sure if it's ironic or if I'm misunderstanding you.)

I make some money in Russian market in CPA, networks in US unfortunately do not have anything valuable which are not present already in our market + have really shitty CPA rates if even do.

I get like $0.3 to upto $1.2 per CPA for games, and more for other offers....but traffic is easier to get than in Western Europe/US/CA/AU/NZ with less rules in our local search engines, etc...in the end it may lead even for more money:)
