I wanted to cue you in on a few tools and utilities to help the average Internet Marketing Player (IMP) get through the Valentines holiday.
MySpace - This may be annoying 364 days of the year but on Valentines day it is an amazing form of communication. Tip: Use your myspace auto comment software to automatically post a comment with a cheap sparkly happy valentines day graphic from some myspace layout site. Just be sure to only grab the profile ids that belong to female friends of yours with this one. That gets tricky.
Instant Messenger - Your old AIM bot collecting dust over the last couple years? Bring it back to good use. Have it auto message all your chicas as they come online, "hey baby, Happy valentines day! I miss you and will call you later." Immediately followed by a "hey i'll be back in a little bit i got a busy day going on."
Account Creators - Every girlfriend is going to need a present. So don't forget to turn your auto form fillers over to FDL. Insert your list of names and addresses and let it order and ship your cards. Don't forget to ask for bulk pricing
Regional Searches - Don't forget to scan for expensive restraunts that allow reservations to be made online. Purposely screw up while making the reservation, get the party size, time and name wrong. Show up with your date and complain that their websites backend scripting sucks. You look smart, you look classy, and most importantly you care. It all ends okay though cus you have some bulk COSTCO sandwhich makings and potato salad in your fridge that you for some reason bought earlier that day, and she decides a romantic picnic would be better than some gay restraunt.
API - Don't forget that your local cell phone provider more than likely has a text message API you can use. You couldn't possibly go on 10 picnics in one night so your going to need help from a cronjob.
