There aren't that many girls in this industry who are actually marketers and not employees of the networks. And the small amount who are doing it don't appear to want to be here with these foul-mouthed, boob-posting boys.

I have very high regards to marketing which brought me to this forum. I'd like to see the younger generation say on different advertising methods on the net. I totally missed this thread when I did my first post. I'm from Scandinavia, a computer geek since the mid 80s. Been a webmaster (never professionally) since 95 when I first went online. I maintained some large to small sites over the years. I use Linux and write all my tools in Perl, Java or the Shell. I first started doing SEO a few years ago and monetization a year ago. So in some areas I'm a total newbie.

Fugly ol’ battleazz who recently kicked out sociopathic, Joomla-luvvin’ wannabee king-of-smalltown. He tried but couldn’t suck me dry $$$-wise, but daggnabit, I’m on a “budget” now. So I’ve boned up on affiliate mktg ‘wisdom’ sans e-books, nabbed some domains, have copy ready for 2 of them, just now sold my middle-class suburban home and am packing for the trip x-country to the left coast where my office in a little rented bungalow with hardwood floors and arched hallways, fer crying out loud, will be on a b-u-s-y street but there’s a fenced yard for my old-lady cats in the backyard.
Resigned the j.o.b in exchange for a decently hotr0dded computer to replace the shit-thing girly-gateway PLUS “consulting” fees til end of ’07 to set up niche market sites promoting x-employer’s product(s)… with brilliant potential for my own PPC returns when this client’s idea of fill-in-the-form mktg approach fails. Sigh.
