Is AM good for a missed connection website?

I currently have a missed connection website for my college. It gets heavy traffic during the semesters. Not so much during summer because everyone goes back home.

I've tried adsense but the missed connection niche doesn't pay much. Only a few cents.

Is it worth integrating AM into a missed connection website?
