Is commission junction as juicy as it looks?

i've been using CJ off and on since they came out and its always been a bad experience. Anytime I earn a good amount of money through them the account gets shut down right as payment is due and they keep all the commissions. It's always some weird bullshit excuse like "Your website does not create a positive branding experience for the advertiser."
The funny shit is they've been getting away with stuff like that since they started. They never give you any problems until your first payment is due. Which incase you didn't know is always net 60 monthly for the first payment. They use the extra month to supposedly check your quality but its not until the due date when they shut you down for a crap excuse then you're not allowed to contact anyone about it or fight it.

We get monthly payments from CJ $x,xxx.xx (the lower half of that range) and have never had a problem with payments. We've been earning CJ commission for many years, can't even remember when we started.
CJ does not like PPV advertising (pop-over, pop-under etc), and definitely no shady cookie-stuffing, be careful of that.
Some vendors will automatically reject your application, so you need to email or call them if you really want to join their program.
We are members of a handful of affiliate networks, but CJ is our biggest earner.

If you do affiliate marketing (pushing actual products) and you're not just 100% Amazon, CJ is a must. I believe they have more top 100 internet retailers than another other network. But that might not be worth the hassle for some.

Apologize, they're just not worth the hassle for us personally. Make you jump through hoops sometimes for something very small. Many problems with payments and having to verify traffic sources and what not.

They are the ebay/paypal of the affiliate world. By that I mean they will literally REVERSE YOUR LEADS. The company does not even need a reason to do so. They allow them to do whatever they want. Basically you get SCRUBBED after getting SCRUBBED, from the SCRUBS, SCRUBBING your SCRUBBED offers.
Oh and you know that whole issue, where most networks. Above All Offers, EWA, Copeac will pay you if they do not get paid or give you some sort of compensation for it. At CJ
FORGET ABOUT IT, they will just let it sit in pending, I have a fucking payment from them due for over $5k they didn't pay me because they allowed the advertiser to go over. They can EAT SHIT, Commission Junction sucks.

i pull in £1200 [$1850] monthly from cj.com an have never had any issues with them at all. maybe its cos my site is completely legit, and doesn't get traffic from scrupulous sources.. on top of that ive never ever had an advertiser ask to "extend" or roll over comissions to next month for whatever reasons. always been paid on time.
if you're doing dodgy shit and avertiser doesnt like it, they will complain to cj and you will have problems, simple as.
incidentlly, never had any issues with paypal or ebay either..
CJ is not about them and more about who they let use them. The offers you get can FUCK YOU OVER! You are using offers that are not and that is cool good for you. I am just stating with them you have 100% NO PROTECTION, as simple as that.

Been working with CJ since early 2006 and getting paid monthly. Never had any payment problems in fact it helped me once when i was in a legal trouble with one of the merchant. If i worked directly with that merchant, the money was surely gone but CJ paid me in full before terminating me from that particular program, account remain intact and got paid high $XXXXX
You have to be careful with CJ, no PPV, shady BH methods and some merchants do not like cloaking your traffic. Many newbies use prosper to cloak their traffic but thats a red flag right there. Unless you personally know the merchant, dont try to play with them.
As always haters gonna hate but you have to understand that big brands only work with CJ, linkshare and the likes. When walmart, target and the likes start putting their offers on CPA networks like NB etc, i would never bother with CJ. Till then, CJ remains a leader in this space
