What the fuck is up with the sea of ridiculous domain name extensions pouring all over the web lately? The worst one of them all was just released recently: .SUCKS

What the fuck do they expect with such a domain name? Cyberbullying and defamation cases are already outta control on the web and now ICANN is adding more oil to the fire by launching this domain extension. Is this organization managed by a bunch of teenagers? They're actively contributing to the dumbing down of the interwebz.

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: They expect to cash in on all the big brands buying .SUCKS. Also they're still pretty much a monopoly and don't need to compete so they don't give a fuck. Take it or leave it they figure. It doesn't really cost them anything extra to make a new domain name extension available.
