I decided to take action with bum marketing a few months ago. I've made some beer and liquor money but I don't think I'll be driving that Mercedes S65 any time soon. When I read this forum every couple of days or so I notice that the only guys really having any success are the PPC guys. My definition of success is $1,000/ day+ profit. I might be totally wrong about this whole issue but I just don't read about anybody but PPC marketers making that kind of money. Am I off base by thinking this or do I just need more experience and learn to think out of the box? Will I I eventually have to take the PPC plunge if I wanna see the real cash? I really want to know what you guys think about this.
Is PPC the only way to get truly rich in AM?

I used to do volume with PPC about a year ago, but I found it to be too volatile for my tastes so I began the transition over to SEO. The key to SEO is picking your niche and sticking to it. Commit to it so that you see results and that they are definite.
Aside from sticking to the party, your other task is finding the appropriate keywords to optimize for. I like to find qualified keywords (IE- buy XXXX now, XXX review, etc.) and optimize for that.
Do I make $1K/day? No, not even close, but revenue has been steadily climbing for a long time and I'm convinced that $1K/day is easily possible with the right niche and a large enough network of sites to dominate it with.

i can't think of any reason why you need to ask anyone what keywords to use. just sit down and brainstorm ideas, then check Google for monthly searches. and i bet for every 2 word phrase you come up with, you can create thousands of 3+ word phrases.

ppc isnt the only way but its the one of fastest ways to see results. its not easy. just like any other profitable business niche there is competition. dont expect to drop $50 bucks on a campaign and be doin 1k profit instantly. but if you're smart and work hard/smart at it 1k a day with ppc is no problem.

I've gotta be honest, i've never used PPC (i've always found success with SEO, even if it does take longer to achieve) - that being said, if you can really get your campaigns streamlined you can make a hell of a lot of money from PPC and the results are instant! The key is getting some awesome, well converting landing pages!!!
