Is there such a thing as "anchor juice"?

I know link juice can be passed through tiers of sites, but can anchor relevancy also be passed? In other words, if I have a lot of backlinks using the keyword "aaa" pointing to my tier 1 site and then that site uses a different anchor to point to my money site will I get any help in the search engines for "aaa"?
Thanks.

I'm sensing some sarcasm. Was it a dumb question or do we really not know for sure?

No one really knows,

Unless your google

Google doesn't tell you what or how any juice at all flows or how their systems read it.

But you could always email them and ask :)

If you are just starting out, you don't need to be worrying about this right now. Just make sure that you are properly diversifying your anchors across the board, and you should do fine.

Remember that the end game is to put cash in your pocket. Do whatever you need to do to accomplish that and forget about focusing on the details too much.

That's one of those where nobody can know for sure as there are so many other factors especially after you go through another tier of sites and, obviously, nobody has access to Gs algorithm so even with experiments to find out there are just so many variables involved it would be impossible to say so.

I would concentrate more on varying anchor a bit to look natural and yet still focusing largely on the keyword(s) you're after for maximum juice while avoiding any possible penalty.

However, your plan doesn't sound like it could hurt so maybe go for it if you're curious - a lot of SEO elements involved in a campaign are things people just think up like that so they throw them in because "ya just never know" it could be giving some additional benefits and if its not any more difficult to do then roll with it.

No one is really sure.

But assuming that there is its still best to vary your anchors as much as possible to avoid suspicion.

The question is would they reply? I guess not, for a confidential information like that. Or is me imagining it is confidential. :disgust:
