In an article titled “Bitcoin and the Charity of Violent Physical Struggle,” Taqi’ul-Deen al-Munthir argues that in order for ISIS to fund its terror operations it must go outside the western financial system. “One cannot send a bank transfer to a mujahid [jihad fighter] or suspected mujahid without the kafir [infidel] governments ruling today immediately being aware,” he writes.

throw in a little proposed bitcoin regulations from NY, and bitcoin has a bright future.

Ah, we waited for that kind of news... that or pedos. It was 100% clear they will frame bitcoins with it.

They buyed their weapons with bitcoins for sure too.

I used a credit card a couple times to pay for prostitutes. Prostitution is illegal. Therefore, we should ban credit cards. right?

Thankfully, we now have this megahottie in DC lobbying for bitcoin.

I just hope she's using all her assets in that endeavor.

I think the words coming out of her mouth about needing regulation are insanely idiotic, but at least her efforts can't hurt bitcoin and afterall, she is going to leave a good impression on lawmakers.

A Very, very good impression indeed.

Guess that's where the term "cock suckers in Washington" came from. Anyone lobying for regulation of BTC can & will indeed hurt bitcoin. Bitcoin works fine just the way it is. Anything she accomplishes will tarnish bitcoin. Might as well call it bitchcoin, because she's going to fuck it like a bitch.

Do you think bitcoin is made out of paper mache or something?

There's nothing she can accomplish that will do anything to hurt it at all... It's pure, open-sourced, fully distributed software.

Think of it this way: the MPAA & RIAA have such a large lobby in DC that they've got buildings on either side of the whitehouse lawn... You can't sneak a bill past their legion of lobbyists, yet bittorrent is more popular than ever with MILLIONS of illegal downloads occurring under their noses, daily.

One more bill will fix that though, right? Amirite? ;)

Actually Luke - just stop.

We all recognise and understand the implicit value of cryptocurrency - no more need to bleat about it.

All?

From where I stand, it appears that only 10 or so WF folks have been bitcoin users for a year or more now, and just about everyone else still thinks it's a ponzi scheme.

In 20 years some child is going to ask you if it was exciting being there at the birth of real money and what you did about it, and you're answer is going to be: "I told other people to stop talking about it on forums?"

I'm pretty sure there's more than 10 people here you have, use and/or accept bitcoin.

I'm not really sure though. You should a new bitcoin thread, and ask.

You're just annoying. recall your own fuckinh threads from a year ago. It should be at 10k by now. It idles comfortably at 600. i arbitrage the shit since it went above 40. I'm making good money. Anyone you fool into long term investment will be burnt like every noob investor ever. That banks pick it up doesn't mean it will skyrocket any day now. It means it's matured. No more free lunches. We will take every last cent of your possible profits and when it's done we will move on. You will be brokeback like you've been when your mfa farm crashed.

2014 and nothings changed. retards still retard.
