Israel just shot up the aide ships in international waters, at least 20 dead.

Terrorist sympathizers? Wtf? It was humanitarian mission of many nations.... what are you talking about? Are you blind? Don't you read what whole world is saying about this?

The humanitarian mission was not their main goal. The supplies they brought would not have lasted that long anyway. And even if they would have been let through, Hamas would have seized everything for themselves and used what could be used for further attacks on Israel. Hamas does not give a shit about the people living there. The goal with the flotilla was to put Israel in bad lighting for not letting them pass, which they already knew was going to happen. And thanks to the stupid IDF commanders who treated them as harmless activists, they succeeded.

Ahhhh Hamas... you know what? One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

Suck my cock :action-smiley-052:

This IHH 'humanitarian' organization from Turkey is known for subscribing jihadists for wars in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Iraq. They were previously banned even in Turkey from offering aid to earthquake victims.

Now, because Turkey is a rising power and had a Islamist government they've decided to swing their wait around and regain some credibility in their old Ottoman playground and upstage the Iranians in Hamas support. Ironically Palestinians with a long memory remember that before the Joos it was the Turks oppressing their useless patch of desert.

They came looking to create an international incident for the media. They were successful.

The Israelis did what they had to do. They seem to think that logic being on their side is enough. Unfortunately thats not whats important. MOLDING PUBLIC PERCEPTION is whats important here and the Israeli lost this round.

However....

There can only be logical outcome for the continued success of this kind of action. And that is the annihilation of the Palestinians by their fellow Arabs.

Because if the Palestinians somehow got their own state the neighbouring Arab states would immediately unite to crush them. And it won't be Israel that will be "pushed into the sea". And the Arabs will not be so merciful or give a fuck about international condemnation.

The Egyptian's biggest enemy is the Muslims Brotherhood. Of which Hamas in an extension. NO WAY would they let have a real terror state next door. Hence their blockage.

The Jordanians biggest enemy is the Palestinians themselves, which is why they are so closely allied with Israel. Thats because it is ruled by the Hashemite dynasty and the biggest minority in Jordan is Palestinians. The ruling Hashemites are afraid of Palestinians taking over. No way would they let them have a terror state next door. In fact, when the Palestinians first turned up the Jordanians tried to slaughter (Black September), killing thousands (more than the Israelis) and the Palestinians fucked off to Lenanon.

The Syrians biggest enemy is Sunni Islamists. This is because it is ruled by the Alewi sect - a minority (10%) Shia sect, who are also Baathists. They have previously slaughtered Sunni Islamists in the thousands. No way would they allow Hamas to gain power and give the Islamists a base for a terror state.

The Lebanese are too divided to really channel they hate at anyone. But remember - it was the Palestinians turning up that started the Lebanese civil war - with the Lebanese attacking the PLO. Now there is Hezbollah there, so likely result is a civil way, as Syria would cut them lose and use their other forced against them (they're already preparing for that, for when they sign their peace treat with Israel).

So basically, the Palestinians are pretty doomed and you hope that its only the Israelis that continue to oppress them. Because if they really 'rise up' their 'friends' will slaughter them.

but anyway...

an anecdote

In the late 1980s, during what came to be known as the Second Palestinian Intifada, I was out on the road south of Jerusalem one day, on my way to cover the afternoon's rioting. Just outside Bethlehem I noticed a group of Palestinian teenage girls coming out of their school. The girls began hurling angry insults at a nearby unit of Israeli troops and then started throwing stones at them from a carefully prepared ammunition pile.

The Israelis responded by revving up their motors and racing their jeeps towards the girls who first ran away, then quickly resumed their torrent of abuse and rocks. Eventually the Israelis opened up with tear gas canisters and one or two IDF boys fired off some rubber bullets.

The girls began shrieking in terror. Three of them took refuge alongside my "PRESS" marked car.
"See what they do to us," shouted said one of the girls in English! "Tell the world to make them stop!"

Perhaps it was naive of me, but I turned to her and said, "maybe if you stop throwing stones at them, they'll stop shooting at you." To no avail.

I thought of that 20-plus-year-old incident this morning when I heard about the events off the shores of Gaza aboard the Turkish ferry the Mavi Marmara.

See what they do to us?!

but you know, at least they made their intention clear and got EXACTLY what they hoped for:

"There are two possible happy endings" a Muslim activist on board explained, "either we will reach Gaza or we will achieve martyrdom."

So the IHH thugs came for a 'happy ending' and they got one. Why the outrage?

Mona Charen : Theater of War - Townhall.com

On board one of the ships, according to Al-Jazeera, the "humanitarian" Palestinians sang "Khaybar, Khaybar, oh Jews, the army of Muhammad will return" -- a reference to the 628 massacre of Jews in Arabia at the hands of Muhammad.

But who'd believe Al Jazeera. That Zionist rag.

Actually, here's a quote I saw today I really liked:

Anti-Semitism, it has often been said, is the socialism of fools. I would put things another way: socialism is the anti-Semitism of intellectuals.

good article on the counter-productiveness of Socialism btw

Sympathy Deformed by Theodore Dalrymple, City Journal Spring 2010

To sympathize with those who are less fortunate is honorable and decent. A man able to commiserate only with himself would surely be neither admirable nor attractive. But every virtue can become deformed by excess, insincerity, or loose thinking into an opposing vice. Sympathy, when excessive, moves toward sentimental condescension and eventually disdain; when insincere, it becomes unctuously hypocritical; and when associated with loose thinking, it is a bad guide to policy and frequently has disastrous results. It is possible, of course, to combine all three errors.

lol, I think we can all agree that the entirety of the middle east is full of retards and as long as we keep them fighting amongst each other, we can steal their delicious oil.
