Israeli company produces cancer vaccine, clinical trials underway



If after two years those vaccines are not in sale yet, it means production is to expensive and not enough money can be made. Or ingredients or/and technology can't be patented. Maybe they are still trying to make it work, I mean to make the most of cash out of it. It can't be too effective otherwise they will lose clients.
 
Interesting. I didn't even check the date of the original article. The article started popping on social, so I assumed its fresh.

Asked about the update a friend that knows the CFO of the company.

They're Israeli, with the research and trials being done in Israel. The FDA isn't involved. Nevertheless, yes, it does take a long time and the article specifically says the company was formed in 2006 and that if the results are positive then perhaps the vaccine will be available in 2017.
 
Cubans also cured cancer a couple years ago, so did Koreans.

Meanwhile people are still dying from chemotherapy.

That's right. They have much higher success rates than our "western" medicine with its chemotherapy and radiation. Who cares? If pharmaceutical company can't make money they are not going to sell it. Meanwhile people are injected with chemotherapy which is freaking expensive (and is killing people and budgets). This is the kind of marketing I would never get into.
BTW, just realized that most profitable businesses out there are based on killing people. Pharmacy and arms industry. And guys from pharmacy are better marketers, they do it slowly. They know CLV.

I love all of the pharmaceutical company hate/conspiracy theories online. But it is these same idiots who slam pharmaceutical companies that benefit from the billions of dollars invested each year to develop new treatments and cures.

Developing new drugs is incredibly expensive. Financing the development of a new drug and all of the failed drugs that don't get FDA approval (or fail much earlier, e.g., hit to lead, lead optimization, pre-clinical, phase 1/2/3) is incredibly expensive. Drugs that do make it to the market have to fund all research and development. So, yes drugs are expensive. Especially when you consider the narrow periods of exclusivity that the FDA provides (if the drug gets Orange Booked) and the soon to follow attempts at patent invalidation from generic manufacturers.

Here is a clue for you conspiracy nuts out there:
If it was easy to cure cancer/HIV/etc, it would have been done already. Take it from someone who has worked in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry for close to a decade developing new treatments for various cancers.

Trial should be done in Israel only or Asian contries will nuke this vaccine producing country if they even thinks of conducting trials in second-world countries. Stay Alarmed.

Because journalism is a sensationalist joke when it comes to 99% of drug trials or scientific shit of just about any kind.

If they actually reported the content of the articles/papers they were writing about nobody would read that shit.
