What ever happened with Jack3d, why was it banned? Did .Hack have a heart attack or something?

So several years ago there was a big Jack3d thread that got me interested in DMAA (and within months a member here had created his own cognitive supplement containing DMAA). About a year or two ago I had bought up the last stock of Jack3d from one of the sites I order supplements through.

Is this lawsuit following some negative health finding related to DMAA? I can't find any new info, aside from the same possible health risks I already looked into years ago before trying DMAA - although there are now a bunch of "let us help you sue your DMAA supplier" sites filling up Goog's SERPs at the moment.

I ask because I have not only a bottle of jack3d, unexpired, but a bottle of DMAA extract capsules. Haven't touched either in months (been predominantly stacking aniracetam lately), but still curious.

And, no, I won't be filing a claim for $$$. The products I ordered did as advertised, there was nothing even slightly illegal about DMAA at the time (edit: or I didn't realize it, and still don't care), safety is always a risk when ingesting supplements that haven't been heavily researched, and DMAA proved - personally - to be very effective as a productivity aid.

edit: ok, as soon as I submit this post I come across a relevant link in another tab - DMAA in Dietary Supplements

So it would seem it is actually illegal (news to me) and the FDA has been on one of its rants for the last year taking it off the market. Can't find any new studies regarding DMAA's negative health effects (all the stuff about putting strain on the cardiovascular system is old news).

Oh well, back to popping Adderall without a script, I guess.

I have my bodybuilding.com receipts for about 30 containers since I knew it was going to get banned. I just ran out of the good shit about four months ago.

Why is shit like this never available in Canada? No Canadians buy jack3d or something?
