Good post. Not because it's revolutionary or anything, but because it's something to keep in mind especially for people who are still working on their first online buck. You see these WF threads about someone making a good sum a week from a free blogspot blog and those instantly become your standards -- someone else's success instantly sets the height of your limbo bar.
Instead, work on that first buck. Think about what a big achievement that is. From there, you can tweak that buck into a few more bucks. See what works. What doesn't work while the losses/gains are small. I'd venture to say that I've learned the most principles of marketing/earning money online when working on my first buck.
Also, one WF'er recently posted that you must put a lot of time into one project before you can make a lot of projects. It hits home. You work a long time and try all sorts of things to get that first $25 paycheck. Once you hit that, you can practically duplicate and receive 10x $25 paychecks, improving every time.
