Keyword conversion tracking

What software, script, etc. do you use to track to conversions by keyword/phrase?

I use Google Analytics for my own products, but for affiliate stuff I haven't really been watching conversions by keyword, which I really should be doing.

Ideally I would like something that tracks Adsense, AdWords campaigns, and AM.

The issue with both is that affiliate programs usually have different ways to track conversions. For example, Azoogle will only tell you what converted based on referall id. For an incentivized offer I was running I had to have a php script custom program that dynamically generated that id and matched it up with the user's info in a database.

ClickTracks looks like it does the same stuff as Google Analytics, which doesn't work in this case.

Either of you ever decide to check out the Adsense Gold? I was checking a video out and it recommended it, more importantly went through the demo and showed how it worked. Seemed very interesting and worthwhile.

I bought adsense gold.

It doesn't track very many of my ad clicks for some reason. Other folks I have talked to had better luck.

It does do a nice job of tracking referrers, referring domains, and the keywords people use to find your sites. You can really mine the keywords for your arb campaigns.

How about that list that comes with it, the top keywords/highest paying etc. - that prove useful or have you tried building a site(s) around some of the high paying payout keywords?

The keyword list probably has been passed around too much. You can get it for free at all of places too at this point.

tracking is tough due to various ways of tracking I use the revenue over expense method. If i am making money i keep running it, if not i tweak tr again i repeat that 3 times after 3 times no convert to profit i move on.

yeah that's the simple way of doing it
some of the offers I'm running dont' give me any other option
