Hey Guys,

Haven't posted in awhile as I finally been diving into building my own backlinks. My question is what programs do you guys use to track the keywords that your site is being ranked for?

I have tried a few web based apps and online stuff.

The first desktop software I tried was rank tracker and all the buttons scare me away. Now I canceled all my paid services and have been just playing with this.

If your looking for an all around NEWB software I really like positionsnipe, its cheap, very basic and helped me find loads of EMDs. The tracking is very good but it kind works as much as you'll need.

Firefox has a decent free one -- I think that's what Joe was referring to -- Rank Tracker. Market Samurai has a tracker built in. Works okay.

I've heard that Authority Labs is the way to go, but it ain't cheap. If I had the jack to spend, I'd probably go that route.

Im actually talking about Rank Tracker - SEO PowerSuite which has a few great free tools.

Well, sometimes I use Google webmaster tools to track my own keywords.

While sometimes I use 'Keyword Country' to track my own and my competitor's ranking.

I use SEO Powersuite's Rank tracker it works great. If you're not doing anything shady then webmaster tools helps as well.

OOpsie didnt mean to edit for that long - so here is my chapter 2:)

Some of the cool stuff in Rank Tracker I personally like

1. Nice interface with colors and graphs
